One tank is for chlorine and the other for Acid. I don't imagine I will be filling the Acid tank very often, but the chlorine tank could be getting filled every 10 days or so depending on the time of year...

Okay, that makes sense. I think your estimate of 10 days is really a worst case scenario, you'll probably not go through it that fast, well I guess that depends on what concentration of bleach your getting, I'm assuming you'll be using 12.5%trade.

Yeah. I'm hoping it is more around 2 gpd for most of the year. I'm getting bulk industrial bleach that spec's between 10&12% depending on the batch

Fun fun, let's say you got super fresh and it averaged 12.5% at time of injection, so each year you'll add 93,440 oz and that's + 1,074 FC and + 1,767 salt. Cool!

Yeah - I've been bagging / recycling most of the light trash each day and putting it out to the curb for normal pick-up.
The heavy stuff (concrete and dirt) has to go by way of clean-up crew though..

Ahhhhhhhh I see......that is what I would do also. Pick up as they go.......there was one build that put out a big trash can but the workers still just dropped their trash where ever

Yes, I also put out a trashcan, but still had to walk around every afternoon and pick up water bottles, pieces of rebar, broken tiles, etc. At the time, I was spending a lot of time out there anyway checking things out and making sure it looked the way I wanted it to, but it still would've been nice if the subs left a clean worksite.

I have a question for our resident Pro Competitive Swimmer (do you swim Masters?). But that's not the question.

What kind of goggles do you like best for non-competitive situations? Just fun in the water with a good seal to keep the water out, comfortable to wear, and won't break the bank? I just suggested our old goggles to someone and would like to have a more current and up-to-date recommendation to keep in my suggestion box.

Ha! I'm far from an goggle expert or connoisseur but I'm partial to the Aqua Sphere products. Kaimans for lap swimming and Kayennes for open water. I figure goggles are a fairly face-shape specific item though so I would try some on before buying.

Hey, you're the closest 'expert' I know, and every opinion counts. I agree, trying them on is important, but sometimes you don't get the chance. It's easier when you're with other swimmers, and you can borrow a pair for a quick splash test! Thanks - I'm on my way to look up those!

I hate to sound impatient, but I'm ready for plaster!!! Post-dig dirt stuff is bor-ring to me. Lol!! I need color, action, lights, splash, swimmers! Tell the guys to hurry up! Please.

Yeah - it would be at least half full for sure.

I have a little 1/3 HP submersible pump I throw in there after each rain storm though. It takes a good 24 hours but it pumps out the 10-15k gallons that collect at the bottom of the pool easily enough.
