I hope not, we started build last fall so this is our first summer...we our very happy with our choice. I’m trying to attach a photo of our gray steps and coping...hopefully it works
We went to the city dept to request a permit & was told no permit needed. We have a 12x12 roofed back porch & I have the pool site flagged starting at 12 ft from the back porch. Granted we have a relatively large yard because we sit on 1.33 acres, but we are surrounded by very large oak trees... heavily wooded. We have lots of wild life, we border the city limitsMany municipalities have building standards that specify that. Are you going to be getting a building permit?
Standard here is 5 feet.
I went to google earth but the pic seems to be pretty outdated. We have cleared the trees from our backyard and added a building since picture was taken. Can you pull a satellite photo from google earth and post it here, so we can view it from above?
Leaves will find your pool no matter where it is in your yard!
Just a single story. Surely being a shallow pool my boys would never do that! LOLDo you have a 2 story house? Is there an upper deck? If so you do NOT want your pool to be close enough for any person like my hubby and his brother to even think about jumping off of there into the pool!!
