Congrats! I'm pretty sure your build is the first build I've followed from start to finish since joining. Enjoy!

That pool is worth taking a day off for! PRETTY water color!
I wonder if you could put some low growing bushes there? Low shedding also! LOL

It is going to be a fight for a while. Some take 3 months, some as long as a year for the plaster to fully cure. Keep up the fight.
Where is your TA? If the TA is over 80 maybe you can beat on the PH every two or so hours to help push the TA down.

Tested the heat pump today, turned it on at 7am with a pool temp of 65, as of 530pm it's at 73. It's been a pretty nice day for october in buffalo so i'm a bit disappointed in the 8 degrees in 10.5 hours.
What kind of heat pump do you have? 8 degrees in 10.5 hours doesn't sound too bad for a heat pump in Buffalo in October. What was the outside temp?
It's a pentair ultratemp 110. Weather started out in mid 50's and topped out at 75ish. I guess it's not terrible, I forgot to check it this morning but I should hear about it soon if it's not at least 80 as the kids have a half day of school and everyone is going swimming.
What is the BTU rating of the heat pump? I get about two degrees an hour with my Pentair MasterTemp 400,000 BTU gas heater.

Bought a dolphin nautilus plus robot and have been very happy with it's performance, it even climbs up on the sun shelf and gets that area.
One thing I have noticed is that I seem to have a dead spot on my sun shelf where all the surface junk collects when the wind is out of the south
Oh look! A little  SO CUTE!
Funny how the wind and such influences stuff in the pool. I wonder if you could turn a return so it pushes it off?

I was able to get a $400 credit from the builder for installing the wrong heat pump. Pool closing is tomorrow, water temp is at 50, might take a quick dip tonight one last time.
