my new pool is up and running after having a beautiful weekend. now i just need the water to warm up about 10 degrees or more so i can enjoy.

coming out of the skimmer is my overflow. that way when it rains alot it does not overflow right next to the pool. that is run to a french drain. no did not design that hanger myself. i actually got it off of this forum. i use it for my solar cover.
Nice looking pool! I see you ha e the same idea as me with using the undersized intex pump dedicated to just the skimmer from the looks of it. Great job! ??

YAY finally!!!! I am really regretting not getting the XTR model. I haven't set mine up yet but I am so afraid of rust from reading all the reviews of the regular Ultra Frame pools. Keep up the great work and keep me updated on any pros/cons/opinions of the XTR. Happy Swimming!

I sprayed the insides and bottom third of the legs on my Bestway 14x48 pool with clear Rustoleum to see if that will inhibit the rust. I read those horror stories, too.
Well I can say that my XTR poles were galvanized and the powder coat was inside and out. I used silicon at the base where the footer goes on and at the top where it meets the T. But the poles are a lot thicker than my buddies Ultra Frame I helped him put up last year.
