Hello all!
Below is a pic of some pieces of my plumbing setup that I’m not familiar with. Any help identifying these components would be greatly appreciated

1) yellow circle to the left exiting heater heading to chlorinator back to pool. There is a fitting that looks different. Is this a backflow preventer?

2) red circle to right. Some sort of wire connected to pipe prior to entering heater. The other end of wire goes to my OmniLogic panel.

Thanks!
John

John,

The yellow is a check valve to prevent acid from your tab feeder from draining back into the heater and destroying it..

The red is a temp sensor (thermistor) that tells your automation what the water temperature is..

Thanks,

Jim R.
