My Pentair Intelliflo VS pump not running while in Auto mode

My pump stops running when it’s in Auto mode although everything seems to be up when I check my Easy Touch. I tried to reset with the breaker and it eventually started but then stopped after a few mins running. But then when I turn to Service mode, I can manually start the pump without any issue. Any suggestion where I can check to see what the issue is? Could it be a bad capacitor? If it is, it wouldn’t run in manual mode either, right? Where else can I check?

Same issue we are having, pool about 4 years old. Nothing tripped on the breaker, pump runs, just won’t run in auto. Any suggestions?

I assume that you have an EasyTouch Automation system.

Several things have to happen before an IntelliFlo pump will run while being controlled by an automaton system..

1. You must be in the AUTO mode and NOT the Service mode
2. The pump's display must say "Display not Active".. (This mean the pump is being controlled by the automation)
3. A Circuit must be on. Normally this is the Pool or Spa circuit, but it can be any Circuit.
4. The Circuit that is on, must have a speed assigned to it.. Like Pool = 1500 rpm
5. The pump TYPE must be correct on the speed set up page in the automation

With the system in AUTO, tell me what your pump's display shows..
