My "New" Pool in SCHERTZ, TX

This is the thread I was looking for...last night I was talking to my boyfriend about accent tiles on the steps and he didn't like the idea and said, "why don't we put a design or something on the steps" so I was telling him about your lizzard but I couldn't find it at the time...I think he's going to want that :)
They have a lot of different little mosaics out there that can go for steps (dolphins, turtles, starfish...) have fun looking!

I would open them up and make sure they sent the right ones !
Already opened! LOL

I opened the box of glass tile for the accents on the steps/shelf and already arranged with the best ones on top!
The 6x6 waterline tiles are correct too!
The travertine coping is fricken heavy! PB got 16x24 tiles because they didn't have the 12x24. (they will cut them down if needed.)

*TexasRain dumps ice cold cooler of Gatorade for workers and fills it with hot chocolate*.
I had some orange juice, gatorade and waters out there for them and I was actually thinking about getting them some coffee! :coffee:LOL but once they started working they warmed up!

Somewhere several states away, Kim’s Spidey-sense tingles and it can only mean one thing....... that BLING is happening. She smiles and eagerly awaits getting home from work to confirm her suspicions. :ROFLMAO:

Hang tight TR, you’re about to go from drab to fab real quick !! This is the stage where it finally ‘pops’. After all you’ve been through it’s about to pay off.

How exciting! Your pool is going to be gorgeous. Are you sure it's 10' wide (per your signature) ~ the photo makes it look GINORMOUS!!! :giggle:
The main lap part is 10'x40' and the 12'x8' shelf is stuck on the side. I did use a wide angle on my phone for this shot!

So I got black 6x6 waterline tile, that is what they finished today, I love it! They will work on the travertine coping next! I moved the huge and fricken heavy 16"x24" Ivory Travertine pieces around where I wanted them... well mostly, I got tired! 😅😂
**let me clarify, the guys placed all the travertine around the pool, I just moved the pretty ones near the shelf!**

Day 2 -tile and coping, probably one day left. They cut travertine to go inside the pour-a-lids... are they going to be heavy to pick up with your fingertips???
