Mx6 too much sucction

Hi all,

I just bought a zodiac mx6. Plugged it in and the flow valve collapses right away. Even fully adjusted.

Any thoughts on this?

Inground, salt, Hayward superpump 1.5 hp and Hayward de filter. 15000 gallons

Did you use the regulator valve that comes with it. Where are you plugging it into, a dedicated line or the skimmer? Is there any valves you could adjust in front of pump?

Yes. regulator that came with the pool. Dedicated skipper. No adjuments in front of the pool. There is a return line with a polisher? that's disconnected.
