What do the Maytronics cleaners do when the AC is powered on? Do they automatically just run a cleaning cycle?

My old Hayward TigerShark with no controller smarts runs a cycle when plugged in and on. I currently use that with a wall timer. I am thinking of finding another home for this robot.

Thanks for any info.

djw,

They do nothing when the power is applied.. Most of the new ones only run when you set a schedule on the power supply...

What do you mean.. "I am thinking of finding another home for this robot."

Thanks,

Jim R.

I bought two old Dolphin Diagnostics about 8 years ago, maybe longer.. I actually bought three of them and made two good ones.. Used them both until this year. Replaced one with an S200 at Christmas and the other just went bad last month... I've been busy with other things and have yet to make up my mind if I want to see if I can fix it, or just get another S200.

I guess my point is that Craig's list worked pretty well for me, but I was looking for cheap at the time..

Thanks,

Jim R.
