You will have to log onto your router and see what frequency you are using. It will not work with 5GH.

Also see if you can see the M600 on the network. It took a few tries when I first set it up as well.

It seems like it is wifi related. I would suggest bringing the control unit into your house next to the router and see if it can find the network.
It is my understanding that all routers support 2.4gh by default, and some are dual band and also support 5gh. Usually this will be visible by two networks showing up, one at 2.4, one at 5. I will try to move the power supply next to my router and try again. How would I log onto my router to check the frequency?

That’s a simple google away my friend. Put 192.168.1.1 into your browser. If it’s not that then you’ll have to type /ipconfig into the cmd prompt to see your routers ip. But all of that is outside of this forums realm.

The ip address will depend on what router you have. Same with the default password. Google the make and model to find the ip address and user name and password. Unless you changed the username and password.

My router I can turn on or off each frequency. 5gh has very fast speeds but doesn't travel as far. 2.4ghz is slower but will travel very far. This is why they used 2.4ghz for the m600.

Let us know how you make out. Obviously make sure you have the right network and password.

Thanks to all for the help. I verified that the router was 2.4gh, and while in the router setup I realized that I had previously changed the password to a different one than the default password. (DUH). plugged in the correct password and connected to wifi. Even with the power unit located at the furthest point in the yard from the router, still have a good connection. I am now a happy camper!

Glad it worked out for you.

I hate suggesting to make sure you are using the correct wifi password but forgetting it does happen.

The M600 won't come back and say " wrong password" it seems to just keep trying until you tell it to stop.

Make sure you update the app in the app store. It came out a few days ago. I'm looking to test it tomorrow.

No worries, reminds me of the old customer support conversation...customer: "my Computer won't turn on, it must be bad"...technician: "Ummm, did you plug it in?"

It happens to the best of us.

I installed you android app update and unfortunately it has not corrected any of the problems with the app. It must have been a small bug uodate.

Hold out until next season. I'm as big a tech junkie as you can find, but ultimately, what can a $1,700 device do for you that your existing cleaner isn't already doing? We're not reaching infinitesimal improvements in performance with (needless) added complexity.

I would say hold off on the M600 until they get all the app bugs worked out.

It cleans great but all the features you are paying for dont work right now.

If your current cleaner is working for you keep using it until it breaks.
