Made a huge mistake...need advice PLEASE

Here are our design features (Silver NPT Travertine, Granite Blue Pebble Sheen, Turquoise tile). We’re trying to decide on Sundek color. Would love your opinions! Options are: Franciscan Tan, Kahlua, Tweed Gray, and Pewter (they would all go well with our house brick/stone colors.

Pool is done. Started 6 Jun, completed 25 Aug. We’re happy with the results, especially the finishings we chose. There are a few “punch items” left...hoping PB takes care of them soon. Swim school is scheduled for next Wednesday. We’ve been too busy to swim, but it’s going to be ON Saturday! 😂 Now, for landscape and new furniture. @TexasRain

I had a similar issue with a slimmer that was going to stick out like that. I had them add a long step, the same depth as the skimmer box, and it turned out great! Steps are usually cheaper than decking. The 10’ step cost us less than $200 to add on. 10889B09-F9CB-4D1C-8000-E99329719D7F.png

you can see the skimmer on the right side of this pic.
