Low water flow

My new device continually states no or low water flow despite have brand new sand filter and no obstructions.

Could this be because the water guru is left in skimmer for readings? Do I need to take device out in between readings?

What new device is giving you that message?

Could be a defective unit. Have you called the manufactuer?
