Loosing water

Is it normal to loose 2 to 3 inches of water within 2 weeks due to evaporation ? I haven’t done bucket test yet.

If it's just evaporation, it's questionable. But add wind to that equation and it may be possible. The wind has been ridiculous in my area for about 3-4 weeks now. I seem to drop about an inch a week with this wind and warmer weather.

It’s crazy wind here as well. I’m from Austin, Texas

I would not panic just yet. Let the weather settle a bit and monitor - wind specifically. I expect to lose some water during a hot TX week, maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch, but the wind (even in winter) steals my water quickly.
