If it's just evaporation, it's questionable. But add wind to that equation and it may be possible. The wind has been ridiculous in my area for about 3-4 weeks now. I seem to drop about an inch a week with this wind and warmer weather.

I would not panic just yet. Let the weather settle a bit and monitor - wind specifically. I expect to lose some water during a hot TX week, maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch, but the wind (even in winter) steals my water quickly.
