Installation complete!
Put the new siemens 2 pole 20A GFCI breaker in.
Moved the pump power wires to a direct connection on that new breaker (the old single speed pump was receiving power from the easy touch filter pump power relay).
Actually kept the old 15A 240 breaker in the box, it’s still powering filter pump relay, which has the power for the iChlor 30 and the heater.
i2 came with the rs-485 cable, it’s working and the i2 is connected to the easy touch.
Now I just have to decide how long to run it. If I do 1500rpm the iChlor flow is strong enough to activate the cell. It seems like the power consumption is much better on a lower rpm setting, this is what mine looks like:
1250rpm: 96 watts
1500rpm: 165 watts
1730rpm: 260 watts
2050rpm: 438 watts
2350rpm: 663 watts
2550rpm: 850 watts
2850rpm: 1178 watts
3110rpm: 1530 watts
3450rpm: 2074 watts
Unfortunately I don’t have a meter to measure the gpm but I’m thinking to leave it at 1500, just high enough to keep that SWG active.
