Looking for advice on how to deal with calcification under spillway

Hello! I've attached two pictures of our in-ground pool. We've recently resurfaced it with Pebbletec, but the natural stone coping remains the same. You can see the significant calcification that happens under the spillway, much worse than any other part of the pool. Even after resurfacing this area has quickly started to show the same signs. The company that did the resurfacing was out today to have a look and make recommendations. I think it's a bit out of their expertise. At this point, they are pointing at the natural rocks around the spillway as the problem. We are considering removing those rocks and putting tile over the entire spillway and bridge between the spa and pool.

I did see another similar post here that considers efflorescence to be the problem (?).

NOTE: The water chemistry is very good. We've watched it very closely.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Show me pictures of your spa spillover running. I want to see how the water falls.

What is the daily run schedule for the spa spillover?
