Logical chlorine output argument?

If my SWCG is set at 53% at 24x7 and my chlorine level is always right around 8, is it safe to assume if I use 3ppm per day that the SWCG produces 11ppm (8+3) chlorine during the day?

Nope, forget the 8, that's there. It's adding 3 to cover the loss of 3.

Agree. If run at 100% it would probably produce a little more than 6ppm.
