I just bought 8 gallons of 12.5% for $52! So about $6.50 a gallon for 12.5% at E-Konomy Pool in Tucson. Was told prices keep increasing. I may swith to 10% at HD for $4 a gallon.

Same at Ocean State Job Lot in the Northeast. Cost for a true 128 oz gallon of 12.5% was $2.99. Now $3.49.
My local Ocean State (in CT) is now at $3.99/gal from the $2.99/gal it was at for many years. It doesn't sound like much, but paying $1 more for every gallon for the whole season is gonna suuuuck.

it has to do with one of the plants that make Trichlor burning down. I believe only 3 such plants in the US. So the price of tablets have gone from like $75 to $150 and now over $225. Because of this the price of liquid chlorine has gone up due to more people buying it. Luckily we don't use much Trichlor here at TFP or it would really hurt our pockets. I could deal with $1, $2 $3 more per 4 pack of liquid chlorine.
