Per my other thread, my new pump had a broken shaft seal, and I could not get pump to prime.
Been super busy with work, so I called Leslies to see if they had the part and could fix it.
They said yes, but weekends are super busy and might not get to it till mid-week.
Store then explained to me how it fix it myself, encase they could not get to it.
Took pump in Thursday evening, was ready to go Friday afternoon, they squeezed me in.
Total cost for repair...$29
They even offered to do a warranty claim, but I declined for the $29.
They did file the repair, just encase something else was wrong.
Pump now running like a champ.
Store said they had never seen a factory shaft seal look like this .... all the parts seamed ok except the big rubber gasket
