Leaking Hayward filter

Hoping someone can give me an idea if my filter needs to be replaced. I have an IG Fiberglass pool for about 5 years now and I cannot get the Filter to stop leaking here recently. I have changed out the O-Ring and replaced it with a new one and no matter how what I try to screw the top portion of the housing filter, it continues to leak.
My filter system is a Hayward Swim Clear S150.
Any ideas on getting this resolved or am I going to have to resort to replacing the unit?

Post pics of your equipment pad and actual filter. Show us where the water is leaking from.

My hayward cartridge filter is leaking from the middle section of the cartridge housing. The top is twisted off to access the cartridge filters inside for cleaning. I then twist it back on ( the top portion), but I keep getting water leaking between the two housing compartments after I twist the top portion on. It leaks right under the black portion of the housing unit.

There is not much room allowed to put any lube on there, I looked into doing that already.
