Hi all! First time poster (woo!)

Last year I had a leak in a return jet. I had some repair folks come out to find the leak and they fixed it with epoxy. Well, it’s leaking again and I’d rather not pay them $400 to come out so I’m going to try to fix it myself. However, I can’t seem to even get the outer fitting removed. I’ve attached a picture. I can’t seem to find anything like this online so any help would be greatly appreciated!!
