Leak from Returns?

Cleaning up my pool equipment area and was digging to put a new grade level yard drain in line with this flex hose drain pipe. Discovered this leak that appears to be coming from the return lines. I turned the pumps off and the flow rate didn't change, which makes me believe its on one of the return lines.

Any suggestions and next steps, experience here? Other than dig out more find the source and patch it? Mostly want to know what I'm in for.

Bummer. :( Every pool owner's nightmare. That cracked pipe area will need to be replaced. Depending on exactly where it goes and how much room you have to work with, you may need to replace a decent amount of line to reconnect on each end, or cur and install a repair loop. The link below should give you some more info. Good luck.

At least its not under concrete. More digging and either lowering the pool level or plugging all the returns. May want to replace all the way to the valve rather than try to work in a limited area.
