Las Vegas Build - It's like butter

This morning:

FC 1
CC .5
TC 1.5
TA 150
PH 7.75 (not quite 7.8)/ 7.95
Temp 68
CSI .4

Didn't add anything last night.. I will add acid this morning and a puck or two to the floater.

I actually like Leslie's Pool salt. It's very fine and dissolves quickly. I can't remember how much it is for a 40 lb bag though.

The difference in price is really negligible, as it is not a product I expect I will be adding on a continual basis.. the solar salt saves me 10 bucks over the pool salt, and in the scheme of things its not a big deal.. but I guess they are both crystals... so should dissolve pretty much the same...

I've found solar salt to be higher purity than pool salt. Check the ingredients.

No need to wait on adding the full dose of salt. You know your pool volume and the calculator is correct. If you want more accuracy on the K-1766, you can use a 40ml sample and each drop=50ppm.

Shoot for 3,000 ppm

ummmmmmmmmmm why do you have a fertilizer spreader for your artificial grass? I do have to tell you I had to go back and look REAL close to make sure it was fake grass as that one pic of it rolled up did look like real grass  When it is laid out it really looks real!

That is really coming together! AWESOME job!

Thanks :) getting there!

LOL.. yea I wondered that too... after it's laid, they use a fluffer to make it poof up.. .. and then used the spreader to lay super fine sand over the top... (yea that sentence is just funny... I don't care who you are)

The rolled up stuff does look pretty real, that's why I took a picture..lol..

Good morning!

This morning:

TC 3

PH 7.6/7/85

Salt definitely 400 ppm did test with 10ml, 25ml and 40ml... all the same

so according to poolcalc, on Weds I will add 326 lbs (probably just the 8 bags at 320lbs) of salt to hit a target of 3000 ppm

Mack, you are doing a great job. It is neat to see you have such a good handle on what to do!

Kim:kim:

Thanks! I just do what I am told..lol and keep my hands out of it...

I used to design, build and maintain salt water aquariums... the hardest part was to keep people from messing with them.. if they just left them alone, they would be exactly what you want...

PH 7.2 on the nose.

doing nothing... I could aerate for a while? or just let PH rise naturally?
