Ladder mounting

New above ground pool installed.
How should a A frame ladder mount to pool?
I drilled 2 holes on the pool side to keep legs from floating.
Outside I went to lowes to build pvc weights but man did I underestimate plumbing cost. 4" pvc caps $16 piece. 5 ft 4 inch piece is $35.
I will not have deck tie in till next year.
In 2 weeks I will have rock around the pool.

I never attached my A-frame to my pool. I very quickly switched to steps because I have back and knee problems and the ladder was hard!

For weights, some people fill old bleach bottles with pea gravel or cement and hang from the underside of the steps.
