Just to double check. It is safe to bury a aluminum agp say half way up the side of the pool post and all? The high side of yard is about 2 ft higher than low side.
Just to be sure, burying AGP?

You should first check the pool installation manual to see what it says. See if burial will void your warranty.
I reality, you shouldn’t have an issue. Backfill only after its full of water. Many members install a French drain to help remove standing water. You could also add a retaining wall leaving some space to walk around the pool.
Be cautious since half burial will now defeat some protection that a walled pool offers against unwanted entry by children.
