Hi! I'm a first time pool owner, though We've been doing the pool store dance for just over a year. Was brought here by a new friend on Nextdoor and already seeing a difference.
I am happy to have a math and chemistry minded 15yo son (C) who is excited about the DIY of this and can't wait to learn more.
Also have an adult son (B) who is 25 and loves coming to help. He finds pool care therapeutic, which is an extra incentive.
Hubby and I do what we can, but it is mostly my baby. He has never really been a fan of water, while I've been a wannabe mermaid since before I could walk.
I have Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis and some other physical challenges, so pool time is physical therapy and very necessary. Like most everyone else, down time is very frustrating, but feel especially hard on me with my issues.
