Are these the typical “jets” you have in your pool? I’m no pool expert but I did pay attention to the build process with my spa. One thing for certain that I noticed is that the jets in the spa installed were much different from return jets in the pool. The “housing” that contained the jets were far larger and were not threaded if I recall whereas the pool jets are threaded. After they completed plastering, they inserted the jets into the large housing. The diameter of the jet hole in pool vs spa is also much larger but it could be that also that’s due to the piping being larger (I have a spa blower).
With that said, I repeat I’m no expert but I would think you would need a demo and retrofit.
