Jandy True Clear SWG Connected to iAqualink (Automation)

OK i see what you are saying. Something is not right for sure. Did you make sure the plug from the cell to the trueclear unit is tight as well? Also I assume you are directing water through the trueclear salt cell and the valves are not set in such a way that it is bypassed right? I suggest you call Jandy tech support.

Ok Quick Update.... Warranty crew came today and the power pack for the True Clear was replaced and that was the caused for the unit not to sync properly with Aqualink. Now it is working properly. Pool % set to 60% and output is displaying Chlorinating properly. I will test in a day or two to see on which level we are. Now I just want to see in which RPM I can have the normal filtering / circulation along with the True Clear working.. Currently I have it set to 2250. Warranty crew told me not to go any lower but I think I can go lower than that.

Finally for manual vacuum through the skimmer port... what RPM should I have for proper suction and do I have to have the main drain close completely.

Any advise?

You should be able to run your VS pump around 1500 rpm and still close the flow switch. Try it. If the SWCG is happy, reduce by another 100 rpm, until your SWCG shows no flow. Then increase it back to 100 rpm above the point the SWCG works.

Fro the manual vacuum, that would be trial and error. Start at 2500 rpm and work from there.

The main drain should be pretty much closed all the time. Just have it open very slightly.

I run mine at 2k rpms and no issues with the SWG. I have run it as low as 900 rpms and still had the SWG run. It is kind of a trial and error. I would not go below 1k rpms but try 1500 and see what it does.
