How does the cover plate come off of the Jandy Truclear to change the battery? I tried unscrewing the screws on the outer cover and the cover would not come off.

Jandy Truclear battery
Can anyone tell me the battery number that is used in the Truclear , is it a 1.5 volt or 3 volt battery, the keyboard will not respond to input and I would like to start by replacing the battery.... Thanks
