My Jandy JXI it leaking water out of the manifold mounting bolt holes. Changed the backer plate, manifold and new seal and still same issue. Any ideas?? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Do you mean the plastic manifold where the copper tubes come out? Did you change the round gaskets that are on each tube?

Thank you for reply. I did change those round seals as well. I finally got it tonight, I think the square seal between backer plate and manifold was slipping out of place as I was shimming in the manifold onto the studs. Used silicon grease to help hold seal in place and finally got it. TBH it was like attempt 6 or 7. PITA.... I have a few more issues to sort out before I fire the heater on, so not even if it going to operate properly. Been a rough start to the year, multiple problems.

Yeah it is dumb the outer holes are holes and the top and bottom are just 1/2 cutouts which makes it easy for that gasket to slip out. Let me know if you fix that leak.

I finally got the leak sorted out. The gasket between the manifold and the backer does not fit snugly into its place and with the shimming to get manifold over all 12 studs probably caused it to fall out of place. Used silicon grease on gasket and dabbed each corner and bingo. Now I have high flute temp fault. Can’t win this year, just sorting that out now.
