Jandy AquaPure problems

Had code 172, 185 and 186 on older 1400 model with akc-09 (pre 2008) boards. Replaced cell and old tri port sensor with new 2 sensor and no adaptor / daughter board. Set program B on controller but still no flow indication so no chlorine production.
jandy says buy the new Apurem box as new sensor does not work with the AKC-09 boards. Any suggestions and is Jandy just wanting me to buy new box?

No ideas here but a bump to get this in front of more eyes.

On your old port sensor it plugged into a small little chip that was plugged into the board. If you plug your new Port sensor into that little board then it won't read flow. Remove the board and plug your sensor where that board was plugged into.
