Everyone once in awhile I read a post where someone asks how to get rid of the greasy scum line in your skimmer. In just about every post, someone responds by saying to use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Today while backwashing my DE filter, I noticed I let the scum line get a little dirtier than it should be, so I grabbed one of my wife's coveted Magic Erasers. I spend about 3 minutes total and worked like... well.. Magic!! Didn't do a lot to get rid of the naturally yellowing of the plastic skimmer itself, but the grime and dirt are gone.

Thanks again to whomever suggested them in the past.

I love magic erasures! The liner above the waterline in our pool was looking dingy so I hit it with a magic erasure. The difference was unbelievable! I also used it on my skimmers and they looked better than I've ever seen them.
