Is this common?

Hey guys,
Is it common for my pool light screw to be rusting already? (It looks/feels like rust anyway).The pool is just over a year old. Its a Amerlite 78232500. Thanks

Not normal to rust. The screws should be stainless steel or brass.

Ok, thanks. I've seen skimmers and lights with rust stains from screws before. Were the older screws a lower quality stainless? There's got to be a reason why Im seeing rust. I attached a picture from the build. Cant see anything other then the light that would cause the rust. Thanks again
