Good morning gurus!
I know we don't like the pool store but I did have them test my water so I could see what the copper level was.
I am currently at 0.4ppm.
Is that high enough to justify getting product to treat it?
If so I hear that a sequestering or chelating agent can lower my levels. Which of the two options would be best and how do I know which of the two I am getting by looking at the bottle?
I think this elevated level was caused by a combination of algaecide and running my SWG on "boost" mode for too long not realizing that it also boosts copper levels. Will no longer use the algaecide and am going to be more careful with the SWG.
Thanks!
