Is it normal for CL to drop on a sunny day?

I was at 6.5 FC this morning 7am , 0 CC.
Now FC 0 at 2pm (7 hours)
PH 7.8
TA 125
CYA 30

Most pools use 2 to 4 ppm of FC per day.. less when cloudy and more when sunny..

Bather load has a lot to do with it also..

Still.. going from 6.5 to 0 in 7 hours seems pretty excessive to me.

I suggest that you run an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test or OCLT... Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

Good morning. I lost nothing last night!
I over did it yesterday and had
7.5 FC 0 CC at 8pm
This morning
7.5 FC 0 CC 7AM.
I had to add water yesterday too.
It has been very sunny and I guess the small/shallow pool...

Recheck your CYA. If it's still 30, try adding some granular CYA powder in a sock to get it up to 50. That will slow down the FC burn off some.
