Hi. I'm a new pool owner. I want to keep my pool running year round. I'm in Indian Trail NC. I would like to hear from folks that keep theirs running all year. How do you keep the pumps from freezing? What about the cover? Should I insulate the outside of the pool? Insulate the pumps somehow? What about the dinky hoses that came with the pumps? Can they be wrapped with something to keep them from cracking? Can you condition the tops of the rails (the liner part) to keep it from cracking or dry rotting? The pumps are not covered so I know I need to do something. Any advice? Breathe! I know that was a plethora of questions
