Intermatic Valve Actuator control DIY

Need some help.. searched the forums but still need guidance from you experienced guys.

Pool pump controlled via WION outdoor wifi controller for timer and alexa control.

Trying to control the 2 valves to switch from hot tub to pool.

Looking at the Sonoff 4ch controller that has a 24v input and output control to handle them?

Or the Insteon 2450 controller?

If I use the Sonoff what power supply would work with it?

If I use the Insteon do I need to buy 2 of them?

Any advice appreciated.

So far I have pool and hot tub lights on Sonoff controllers for Alexa control and the jets/pool heater are controlled just by outdoor wifi switches.

Still need a solution for temperature control. Looking at the Sonoff TH16 to program the heater for pool or hot tub heat levels and to switch the intermatic Valves.

Trying to do everything on a budget and easily reversible. Landlord wont spend a penny and pool equipment is ancient.

Thanks for any input.

I’m using the WiOn for 220 switching to my spa pump, and have added 110 hubless Smart Switches for my lights and to switch power to my heater. But, I haven’t considered trying to control the temperature settings on the heater and have no need of actuators, since the spa is a separate pump. So your questions are well beyond my experience or expertise. However, I am intrested in the answers.

Perhaps we should start a thread to share information for those using or interested in DIY Alexa pool automation. It appears there are a number of “off the shelf”devices that can be used, but finding them can be the problem.
