Intellitouch and VSF Random Speeds

I’ve been struggling with an issue for the last month and hoping someone knows what is going on. I have a Pentair Intellitouch system that is changing the speeds of the Pentair variable speed pump when on the aux 3 port which is basically just a speed change for the floor cleaner.

What happens is simple on the screenlogic app I can watch the floor cleaner “feature” go on and off randomly which then changes the speed of the pump from low to high and vide versa.

I changed the motherboard of the intellitouch, replaced the pump (it was 9 years old anyway) and disabled screenlogic from the intellitouch motherboard.

What else could be triggering this feature from going on and off randomly?

Did it work before and this a new problem?

I ask, because if you have the Aux 3 Circuit Function set to "In Floor" it will automatically turn on and off...

Did you recently do any ScreenLogic programing??

Yes it worked before meaning no issues for years. I think the only thing was if I ran it overnight it would turn off floor cleaner after 12 hours.

Pentair is perplexed as I am. I can even change aux3 to Not Used and it still switches to that higher speed randomly.

This has to be the control board but I just replaced so I just don’t know.

Also when I say speed changes this happens 2-3 per hour that it oscillates between aux3 on and aux3 off.

Any ideas?

What is the Circuit Function of your Aux 3 circuit??

Floor Cleaner. So I just read that floor cleaner is a 20 min on/off cycle. I found three other posts which same issue. Does this sound right?

Change it to "Generic" and see if your problem goes away..

Sorry just saw your reply. I think we have a winner here. Not sure who would ever want to cycle between high low on a circuit but to each is there own I guess.
