Intelliflow VS - impeller issue or air leak

Pull it apart. See what the issue is.

As I was looking to undo the screws saw some gaps on the wet side and also corrosion.

Attached are the results.

Final result - shaft is broken

Seems water leaked over the season and ultimately froze in winters.

Any comparisons between whisperflow vs intelliflow3 ? Based on my needs (simple 20k gallon pool) i don’t know if i need another intelliflow3

Not much price difference. The Intelliflo3 is more efficient, but likely not that much.

Based on my pool size can I use 01106x series ? The 011065 is 1299 vs 011077 being in 1800+ range

I would never recommend the de-rated VS pump. You would have to run it at a higher rpm and thus more electrical expense.
