Hello,

The "cell" light is flashing green. We took it off and inspected it -- it seems to be clean. Recent water sample is showing our salt at 3800ppm. Is there anything we can do to try and get this salt cell working? We've went through a few of these already...

Thanks a million.

s,

The flashing cell light and the hours used, or left, have nothing to do with one another...

The hours used is like the odometer on your car, but even at 100 mile, the engine can still blow up...

When the cell light flashes and the cell is clean, it is almost always because the cell is bad.

Just as a point of reference.. I have three pool and over the past 10 years or so, I have been through three cells.. Everyone had the same failure mode.. Flashing cell light, but the cell was clean.

I'm told increasing the salt level, may get it back up and working for a month or two. But, I have never tried it.

Sorry for your loss..

If the cell is free of scale on the plates, and the CELL light flashes green, the Cell is dead.

That is what you need from the link. I do not know how Pentair handles warranties on their equipment from Amazon in Canada.
The price is pretty good in C$.
