Intellicenter app problem

I have an Intelecenter that was working just fine with the Intelecenter 2 app. Pentair indicated this was being replaced with the Pool App. I expected a seamless transition to the new app. Instead I get these two screens. going to the Connect via Local Network, gets me to the second screen. Why I would need to connect my mobile device to my WiFi makes no sense, but I have tried. I looked up my IP on the Intelecenter and put it in. No passcode should be required. I get an error code. I put in the IP on my phone for my home network, still no go.

Any thoughts for this simple change? I am missing something and it is driving me nuts!

What model WiFi network does your house have!

Is it a mesh network?

It is saying your IntelliCenter is on a different subnet then your phone.

What is the IP address and subnet mask for your IntelliCenter and phone?

Again, I made zero changes to any home network. Is there some network reconnect I can use? Looks like the pool is not on my home network?

I have a eero mesh. One the base unit for my pool the green light is on, nothing seems to be blinking. Unplugged that and not impact on reboot.

Pool IP is 192.168.4.196, my WiFi shows 192.168.5.28

Eero mesh is part of your problem.

192.168.4.XXX can be a different subnet then 192.168.5.XXX

What is the subnet mask in your phone and pool panel?

Subnets are the way TCP/IP separates traffic on a network.

What are the DHCP settings for your network? If you do not know, then you need to speak to whoever setup your Eero system.

Quick question. Should there be more than a single light on at the base unit? I am actually hard wired from this unit to my Wi-Fi, thinking it is the base or antenna? Base pick shows one light, antenna has two lights blinking, looks like it is normal. have reset everything and still have no internet. Could base unit be bad?

Nope. You are guessing wildly.

If the remote connection works, which you say it does, then the wireless link is fine.

Your problem is that Pentair requires the panel and phone to be on the same WiFi subnet for a local connection to be made.

Don't think I said remote connection works? I think that is my issue. I did an internet connection test and got the pic below. Tried to reset wifi and got a spinning wheel of death. Reset wifi, reset entire box. Still no connection.

Should the link box connected to the house router have some blinking going on?

Reset WiFi on the IntelliCenter panel?

Let's begin with some basics.

Your IntelliCenter link does not use WiFi. A Wi-Fi connection is used if you have the Engenius Wi-Fi bridge, which you do not have.

You have the 900MHZ Wireless link. It connects the IntelliCenter panel directly to your router not using WiFi.

You will only get flashing LEDs when you have a good network connection.

What network settings does your IntelliCenter show when you go to Configure Ethernet screen?

Please answer the questions I asked above about DHCP and your network submask.

This was a similar problem. Maybe it will give you some clues where to look.
