My Intellicenter2 is ethernet hardwire connected to my network. Has been since day 1.
Recently I have been unable to connect to the system using the Intellicenter App because it is losing network connection and the only way to restore connection is turn it off then back on. No changes to Intellicenter or Network.
It loses it's IP address and thus becomes disconnected from the network. Once that happens the App can't connect either locally or remotely.
It loses it's IP address so completely that it does not show up in the DHCP router table but the connection light on the cable plugged into the router stays lit.
Neither unplugging the cable from the router nor rebooting the router generates a signal to the intellicenter to get a new IP address.
The same behavior occurs whether the router provides a static address or randomly assigned DHCP address.
This is frustrating. Hoping someone out there has encountered same issue and has suggestion that will resolve.
THANKS!!
