Insulating Pressure Relief Valve

I live in North Texas, and am wondering if it is necessary to insulate my filter pressure relief valve/gauge for the colder months?

I replaced my stock pressure gauge with an oil filled one that does not freeze.. Plus, instead of being a useless 0 to 60 PSI it is a 0 to 30 so that you actually read the scale..
