Inground pool with liner not opened for 12 years 😳

View attachment 594875Pool is draining! Liner is being installed in the next day or two. How do we get rid of these yellow stains? Bleach?? We're getting really close!!!

You can try a bleach solution on the stairs and if it lifts you know it was organics that caused the staining. Otherwise it could be metals - perhaps iron staining. If you rub a lemon/lemon juice on the stain and it would lift then it’s iron. Start with the bleach solution first.

Liner is going in TOMORROW!!!!

So the liner would have gone in sooner but there was 3 feet of water under the liner. So they cut it up and put a pump in there. It's empty now!

Finally!! Thank you all for following this journey and all of your advice. I can't believe it's done. Still alot of work to do in with the surrounding yard but we are so happy. Now I need to learn how to take care of it!!!
