In Austin, TX: Does a faux negative edge count towards pool coping (I.C.?)

We are building a new pool, but have limited available impervious coverage. Does a faux negative edge on one side of a pool count as pool coping? We aren't sure about City of Austin rules on this time of edge.

Hi! That is a VERY interesting question! That could make or break a pool build.

I would not go by what anyone says unless they had a title by their name for your part of the world. I would start calling your inspection department until I found someone that would be wiling to put it in writing with their signature on it.
