I'll have about 2 ft in the back n side. It it's not enough I'll just man handle it to another spot.
I checked it yesterday after adding. It came up to 9ppm after using 2g of old 10%. I added the calcium n checked it today. I'm down to 5.5ppm. That was after adding like 2 1/2 lbs. So I'm not sure why it's dropping like that. I added more calcium today because it didnt go to where I wanted it.Please check FC before and after the calcium chloride addition. See if it crashes FC like it does for me every time I add it.
Happy Easter to you too.Very nice.Happy Easter.
Every year I opened the pool, the kids begged to get in as I took the cover off.My lil Boss decided to take a dip. I can't believe she was swimming again. Just jumps right in! Folks... it's like 50° today n pool temp was 60°!
He actually swims and loves it. I had a rottweiler who was like a brick in water. I had a pitbull (my username was her name, Casey) who absolutely loved to swim. She would dive to the bottom of the pool and pick up all the pool toys the kids would leave in the pool.So fun!
Does your boxer swim like a brick? All of mine always have! They all have had to have life jackets w/ handles so we can drag their buts out of the water
We don’t let ours on the deck but she jumped over the pool wall a couple times (cuz she’s like a kangaroo). Thankfully she’s calmed down some & doesn’t try that anymore. I worry she would drown herself trying to drink the whole pool![]()
I’ve noted the FC crash effect from calcium chloride addition on multiple occasions and questioned here what the cause might be. Can’t get anyone to recognize it’s a thing though, because it can’t be explained I guess.I checked it yesterday after adding. It came up to 9ppm after using 2g of old 10%. I added the calcium n checked it today. I'm down to 5.5ppm. That was after adding like 2 1/2 lbs. So I'm not sure why it's dropping like that. Glad I’m not the only one.I find it unusual that in cold water, that FC would dip that much from one day to the next and the only thing added was calcium. But it did. I went from 9 ppm to 5.5 ppm.
Bittersweet CongratsI got my first swim in 2 years yesterday. I couldn't believe that this was mine. Very quiet n peaceful as I thought about my late husband n telling him I was supposed to be sharing that swim with him. Anyways... I got the pool temp up to 80°. It was so nice. I'll be swimming again today because its supposed to be a high of 85° today.
