Imagine Illusion 40 Complete 10/19/21

Please check FC before and after the calcium chloride addition. See if it crashes FC like it does for me every time I add it.
I checked it yesterday after adding. It came up to 9ppm after using 2g of old 10%. I added the calcium n checked it today. I'm down to 5.5ppm. That was after adding like 2 1/2 lbs. So I'm not sure why it's dropping like that. I added more calcium today because it didnt go to where I wanted it.

My daughter and granddaughter came over n brought me left overs from their Easter Dinner. It was very thoughtful because I figured nobody would come over being everyone always has a place to go. My lil Boss decided to take a dip. I can't believe she was swimming again. Just jumps right in! Folks... it's like 50° today n pool temp was 60°! I'm still waiting on the second video to upload. The boxer almost fell in the pool!

Every year I opened the pool, the kids begged to get in as I took the cover off.
They would jump off the ladder of my AGP and take it deep! I just shook my head, laughed and let them have fun.
I was the same way when I was a kid.

nice looking pool!

I didn't tell her no. Mom was but I told her... leave her go. She's ok. I'm still waiting for the 2nd video to load. I love watching her! I asked her, is our pool big enough? She said YES!!! I told her before she left that I'm going to drain it n take the pool out! She almost started crying! 😆

So fun! 🤩
Does your boxer swim like a brick 🧱? All of mine always have! They all have had to have life jackets w/ handles so we can drag their buts out of the water 🤣
We don’t let ours on the deck but she jumped over the pool wall a couple times (cuz she’s like a kangaroo). Thankfully she’s calmed down some & doesn’t try that anymore. I worry she would drown herself trying to drink the whole pool 😳

He actually swims and loves it. I had a rottweiler who was like a brick in water. I had a pitbull (my username was her name, Casey) who absolutely loved to swim. She would dive to the bottom of the pool and pick up all the pool toys the kids would leave in the pool.

I’ve noted the FC crash effect from calcium chloride addition on multiple occasions and questioned here what the cause might be. Can’t get anyone to recognize it’s a thing though, because it can’t be explained I guess.

I find it unusual that in cold water, that FC would dip that much from one day to the next and the only thing added was calcium. But it did. I went from 9 ppm to 5.5 ppm.

Hey guys... I started my Jandy heat pump. It's gone up a whopping 3° since this late afternoon. Does it shut off on it's own if it gets to cold at night? And if it does, will it turn back on by itself when it gets warmer throughout the morning? I have the solar cover on it right now n plan on leaving it on til I get home tomorrow around 3pm.

I got my first swim in 2 years yesterday. I couldn't believe that this was mine. Very quiet n peaceful as I thought about my late husband n telling him I was supposed to be sharing that swim with him. Anyways... I got the pool temp up to 80°. It was so nice. I'll be swimming again today because its supposed to be a high of 85° today.

I got to swim yesterday with my 2 beautiful nieces and my brother. The pool was 87°! They heat pump and solar cover are worth every single penny and it truly only took one good day of 80° temps to raise it quickly. The second day of 80° temps took care of the bottom of the pool. I freaking love that heater!!! Temps are supposed to dip into the 50s this week but I'm going to keep it going to see how it does. If I see it struggle I'll shut it down but I dont think it should considering I'm keeping it covered at night. I do pull the cover daily to burn off excessive CCs.
