Hi, when I look in my ICM there is an LED bulb where the new red/black wire is supposed to connect, if I pull out the bulb, will there be a socket to plug in the wire or should I buy a 42002-0007S to replace my control board?

I need to replace the control board on my 8 year old MasterTemp 400, I don't have the exact model number at the moment, but the board is 4200-0007 Rev L. The display stopped working and have been having intermittent issues losing connection with SFS and other sensors, I cleaned the connections but issues keep popping up. As I looked into replacing the board I found JamesW's very helpful thread that gave detailed instructions on using the new board (476211) on older heaters. When I checked my ICM to make sure I could connect the red/black wire I found that my board has an LED indicator bulb at the location the instructions tell me to plug in the wire.Welcome to TFP.
What makes you think a red/black wire connects there?
The Fenwals are different for the MasterTemp old non-connected 5 button heater then the new 6 button connected heater.
What are you doing?
What model MasterTemp do you have?
Thank you for your detailed instructions and pics, they have been very helpful. You have 2 pics showing the red/black wire plugged in, when I look at my ICM, there is an LED indicator bulb in the location your pics show the red/black wire, see the pic on my original post. Do I pull the bulb to plug in the wire? I was going to pull the bulb to check but I don't want to risk damaging anything/having to find a replacement bulb.
