So, you may not have seen my late night UPS rant. What I discovered this morning was pretty eye-opening. After seeing that the item left Tampa and arrived in Jacksonville last night, I got a call this morning telling me it never left Tampa. When I asked how there was an arrival scan in Jax if it never left Tampa, I was told that the arrival is entered BEFORE it departs. Say what, now??

And once again, it says it was scanned as out for delivery but the delivery date is updated to tomorrow.

I have another call in to FedEx and once again they're going to investigate and call me back.

At least you guys are getting info, even if its wrong. UPS is reeeeeeeeeally slacking at the moment with 'Yup, it's in the country. We think.

So on a whim, I called the Walgreens where I told them to redirect to.

The robot is there. It has been for who knows how long. My suspicion is that FedEx just never scanned it when they handed it over so it never alerted me. *sigh*

You can add the DE. I did notice a difference when I did. Make sure to "babysit" your filter to make sure it is happy with the amount you add

Ahhhhhhhhhh my old trusty friend the 500W problemfinder9000. It probably lets you know something is off before the test kit does. In this case its most likely filtering. But it's still telling you there's something going on.

I could always tell so much by the size (or lack thereof) of the beam.

DE ordered, will add that when it comes in. For now the pool is cold and back to being covered now that I have verified that the robot works.

I do now have an extra caddy as they sent me a whole new robot and said not to ship the old one back. I guess I could ebay it? Unless someone here wants it, I suppose - could work something out. Not sure if we can post a thread here selling something or not. Never seen one and I don't want to run afoul of any rules!

Sure you can !! We are all about memebers helping members. Unscrupulous price gougers need not apply of course. But that certainly ISNT the case.

Ok, DE came in. Took about 3cups to get it from a tad under 15PSI at 3000rpm on the pump to about 15.75 PSI. Hopefully I added enough. We’ll see

How much DE do you add to your sand filter? Wondering if my 3 cups is typical.
