My name is Steve. I'm an IT engineer and DIY auto, construction, electronic, whatever kind of guy. I've been sitting on some home upgrade cash for too long and want a detached toy garage and pool. I'll do my own maintenance. I learned a bunch about it growing up and doing it with my friend's dads that owned pools. I joined to soak up info and ideas. I'd like to sub it myself and do as much on my own that the law will allow. I've got a close friend that is a licensed pool contractor, as well but I haven't asked for a quote. I haven't settled on fiberglass or concrete. Thanks for being here and having me.
