Just curious how often people run their cleaners. I have a 9550 and was running it for 2 hours (more than pre-programmed 1:35) just about every other day. Seems a bit much. You think twice a week is sufficient? Thanks!!!

Depends on how clean you want the pool. In winter, every couple weeks, at most. In summer, about once a week. I am not fussy.

How often do you vacuum the floors in your house? Also there is more than 1 mode on that cleaner. A "full" clean with waterline, walls and floor is 2 1/2 hours.

We have alot of surrounding trees/vegetation, so at least every other day during the swim season (closed and covered during the winter).

My point was to clean it as needed. There are no hard and fast rules. If you vacuum your rugs every day either because they are dirty or whatever other reason, then you will probably want to clean your pool every day as well.
Thanks! I am going to drop it to 1-2 times a week. Any need to manually scrub the pool? I do scrub tanning ledge and long benches along length of pool before running the robot.
